Plenty of thoughts fluttered through my mind this past weekend on whether to write a sympathy post, an inspiring post, or a visionary post. Nothing really glued to my brain and I kept contemplating, what should I share!
Well, here it goes!
The suicide of Sushant Singh Rajput triggered a chock-full of emotions among the general public and of course tinsel town Bollywood. All seems so unreal, unsettling, very illusory, and misleading. Feels like a storybook tale, a fiction movie with fabled up facts shown on the big screen and left for us to conceptualize. Well, let’s accept it he is gone forever, leaving behind a bag full of memories, an impressionable mark, and tons of unanswered questions for us to iron out.
Why did he take such a drastic step? What led him to break down and reach the lowest ebb where he was unable to handle the situation? Why did he not reach out for help? Why was he unable to get out of the tangled web he was stuck in? So much pain and agony in his heart, and no one could even figure that out? So much shrinkage, immense withdrawal, waxing and waning of cognition and not a clue to his familiar surroundings? All these agonizing spasms, struggles, and throes of distress, just gives an intense belly ache in my stomach. That churning feeling is just so very distressing and harrowing. A big can of questions is hulking around in the universe, why after all why?
We all come alone and have to leave this world alone, we all know that and still get petrified by this ultimate truth. We get panic- stricken and get cold feet at the very thought of it. What really matters is the interlude frame that we have to live in this world. Yes, it’s a lonely ride, emptiness prevails and often times we feel very estranged and stuck in between the tides. It is up to us how and what we do in our lives, what choices we make, and most of all what we can offer to society. Sushant was an incredible artist with immeasurable talent, monumental movies on his platter, and a king size fan following. He chose to live his passion, pursue his wildest dreams, worked extremely hard despite the stumbling blocks, and created his commanding place in the industry.
Yes, he left us way too early, but his journey was limited to only thirty four years as destined. I salute such budding young folks who create history and leave their imprints on our heart. We all need to remember them with a smile, with appreciation and applaud them for their exemplary work. That’s what life should be all about to make a difference in other’s lives no matter how long or short our life is. Lead a world- class life, set sterling examples, do note worthy deeds and leave this earth with a memorable name!
Rest in peace dear Sushant and hope you find your true peace with the angels above!
Love, peace & blessings!
